How do you dim the LEDs n the USB2-MICRO-200X?

There is a LED dimming wheel at the back of the microscope that allows you to dim the LED or turn it completely off. If you are using the MicroCapture software, you should not need to worry about the brightness of the LEDs because the software will automatically adjust exposure for you.

If for some reason you are still getting reflectivity problems, you can manually adjust exposure in most webcam software. To do this in MicroCapture, go to the Options menu, select Preferences, select the Camera Control tab, and uncheck the box labeled “Auto” next to the exposure slider. At this point, the exposure slider can be moved left or right to manually decrease or increase the exposure.
