How can I get this to work on an Alcatel 5009A 1C cell phone?

I cannot get this to work on my Alcatel 5009A 1C cell phone. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks for reaching out to us! We are also chatting currently via our direct support line. Unfortunately, we haven’t tested this specific phone with our adapter, and cannot guarantee that it will work. (We keep an ongoing compatibility list at this link: https://plugable.com/products/usb2-otge100). Android compatibility with the ASIX AX88772 chipset in the adapter is ultimately up to the manufacturer, and is often on a case basis.

We would suggest to try putting the phone into airplane mode as this may force the phone to accept the wired connection, by temporarily disabling the onboard communications. If you would, please give this a try, and let’s continue to chat on the main support line. We hope this helps!
