Hi Bernard,

Thank you for posting about your Bluetooth adapter. I’m sorry you are having problems with it.

We have a troubleshooting tool that can help find out what is going on in situations like this. Please go to this page, and follow the instructions there:

http://plugable.com/support/plugdebug

When you run the program, it will create a zip file on your desktop with your computer name and the date. Please send that file directly to our support email address at support@plugable.com. I will look at it and let you know what I discover. If it turns out to be an adapter problem, we will get a replacement out to you. Otherwise, it may be a problem due to a driver issue.

Thanks!

Hi Bernard,

I’m just checking back to see if you were able to get your Bluetooth adapter working.

Please let me know.

David

Hi David. Sorry to say I could not get it to work ,so I have sent it back to amazon, having said that I think it was an issue with windows 10 (which I have just installed)iI also had trouble with my printer,my files,my photos, and also I have a problem with starting up and closing down.iI have a Sony laptop and after I had installed 10 I read an article saying that Sony didn’t recommend upgrading there laptops until they had done more research? ?? We all lean by our mistakes don’t we?
regards bernard

Hi Bernard,

Thank you for the update. I’m sorry it didn’t work out better for you. Windows 10 has many advantages, but it has brought many support headaches as well.

I hope you can try again once everything has settled down with it.

I’m going to close this thread, but if you have any more questions, please feel free to contact us directly at support@plugable.com.

Thank you,

David
