HDMI 4K (30 Hz) port does not work

I hope you can help me. I am having some problems geting the HDMI 4K port running.

I use the UD-ULTC4K Docking station with an Acer Aspire VX15 laptop (Win 10) and two displays.

The primary display should be my Asus VS278H wich is conntected with a 4K HDMI cable (KabelDirekt, https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B004BHZHIS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to the HDMI 4K output on the back of the dock.

The second display is a Asus VS248HR wich is conntected with a HDMI to DisplayPort cable (https://www.amazon.de/gp/product/B00DTTELQS/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) to the DisplayPort output on the back of the dock.

PROBLEM: The DP display is running correctly, but I can not get any connection with my main display over the HDMI 4K output.

Cables and displays are working correctly ! Checked out by chanching the cables and directly linked the Display with the HDMI cable with my Laptop.

But it does not work with all displays linked over the docking station to my laptop.

I really hope you can help me.

With best regards

Hi Peter,

Thank you so much for reaching out to us, I am sorry to hear that you are running into this issue, but I would be more than happy to assist!

We have not had your specific system inside of our testing labs in order to verify that it is compatible with this particular dock. Based on the technical specifications of your system (https://www.acer.com/ac/en/ID/content/model/NH.GM2SN.001) there is no indication that the system allows for VESA Alt-Mode via the USB-C port, which is required in order to output to the 4K HDMI port on the docking station.

When the dock is connected, as well as all of the displays, does the dock attempt to charge the laptop?

Thank you for your patience,
