Frequent disconnection of docking station

I have the plugable docking station. A Toshiba Portege R705-P41 is docked to it. After a few minutes, it will lose the connection and I will have to reboot the docking station. The Portege is NOT going to sleep mode. This is very annoying and is making the docking station useless. How can this be corrected.

I just posted a complaint like Anna’s which I understand is a Plugable hardware problem, except in my case in addition to the key board and mouse, the detacable drive, monitory and printer also disconnect. How is this fixed.
