Faulty unit ?

Unit functions OK on 100Base Tx Full_Duplex, on1000Base Tx Full_Duplex I am told Media disconnected also no lights.

Thanks for posting with your issue.

Normally when Windows is seeing an adapter and suggesting an error with cable detection we’ve found something besides a defective adapter to be the case.

It looks from your screenshots that this was a Windows 8 system? To test for the possibility of a Windows 8 specific issue I’d recommend a quick test on a Windows 7 or older system to see if the device works normally there.

Since this is an unusual observation (that megabit speeds work, not gigabit speeds) I’m suspecting a Windows 8 specific issue or faulty hardware. Testing on an older Windows system should help us check for both at once.

Please let me know if the device works normally on another PC and I’ll recommend further steps.

My system is Windows 7 Ultimate, I have tried on XP system this displays same problems.
