External enclosure with ASM1153e don't work after failed upgrade firmware

Hi,
I own an external disk (fantec db-228u3) that mounts a ASM1153e (I read it right on board of the chipset).
Since the PC recognized the device as USB 2.0 (instead of 3.0 + UASP as it should be) I thought it was a firmware problem; so I upgraded the firmware with MPTOOL to 140509A18200 version. Unfortunately at the end of the process I had FAIL error. Now the enclosure is no longer recognized by the pc, even as 2.0. Is there a way to restore the chipset firmware or the enclosure is broke irreparably?

Unfortunately we cannot assist you with non Plugable brand products. You will need to contact Fantec or whoever manufactures your enclosure. Sorry about this situation.
