External Audio Interface such as Focusrite Scarlett

I’m planning to use this plugable usb 3.0 sharing switch for my external audio interface such as Focusrite Scarlet. I want to switch between my Windows PC and Laptop. This Audio Interface is powered devices through external power adapter. Would that be work? Thanks. Ruly

Technically yes, our USB switch would switch USB signal from your USB audio interface between two computers.

However, USB audio recording is especially sensitive to in-line devices and USB cable length.

So while it is possible that you can share your USB audio interface with our product, it may introduce undesirable signal noise or latency.

Best practice would be to connect the USB audio interface directly to whatever computer you are recording to, without any other USB devices like hubs or switches in between.
