I got the Docking Station UD-ULTCDL on January 18th from Amazon. I followed all the instructions. Started with downloading the driver on to my laptop. Then powered up the docking station. Connected the docking station to the HP laptop. Then connected all the peripherals. Everything worked. After work, I powered down my laptop. On Jan 19th, I restarted my laptop. It did not recognize the monitors that were connected to the docking station. I had connected three HP monitors to the docking station. I had to disconnect all the peripherals and reconnect as per instructions and then everything worked. But today morning I ran into the same problem. The docking station did not recognize the monitors. I had to shut down everything. Then I followed the instructions again and everything worked. Why do I have to do this every time I power my HP laptop. In fact, I have been using my old Plugable docking station for 4 years, but it only supported 2 monitors. But I never experienced this problem with the older docking station. The new docking station supports 3 monitors. Why do I have to disconnect and reconned all the peripherals every time I power up my laptop.
