Ethernet Connectivity Issue (unable to identify network) with Plugable Universal docking station

First day when docking station 2.0 was purchased it worked perfectly fine, some screen lag, which I found to be normal according to several reviews.

After a couple of days, I could not connect to the internet and realized it could not find a connection with my network.

I disconnected the ethernet cable and connected into my computer directly. My computer was able to recognize network and connect to the internet.

I have unplugged the power supply and restarted the connection, but I have had no luck.

Does anyone have a solution?

I have a Dell XPS windows 7 x64 laptop.
