Error: -1603 Installing USB 3.0 Host Controller drivers

I have the μPD720202 usb 3.0 host controller card installed on a Windows 7 x64-bit machine. I double checked that I downloaded the correct driver installer for this version of the card. When I run the driver installer, I get:

“Error -1603 Fatal error during installation.”

I’ve tried multiple times but same error each time.

Rodney let us know via email that a reboot fixed the issue.
