Ignore the power supply of the ports, may I use ANY ONE of the four type-c ports as the host connect?
Can I connect my host PC to the back three port and let the hub works properly？

In regard to the Plugable USB4-HUB3A hub → https://plugable.com/products/usb4-hub3a
The USB4-HUB3A has one Thunderbolt 4 host port located on the front of the unit. The host computer must be connected to the single Thunderbolt 4 host port located on the front of the unit in order for the hub to work properly.
The three ‘downstream’ Thunderbolt ports on the back of the unit are for connecting peripheral devices only. The host computer cannot be connected to the three ‘downstream’ Thunderbolt ports on the back of the unit.
