Just set up my UD-3900 and set my 2 monitors w/ my laptop, how do I run 2 separate excel spreadsheets - one from each monitor? Tim
Thanks for contacting us! I’m happy to help you run separate excel spreadsheets for each of your docking station monitors. Depending on what version of Excel you’re using, the instructions may vary.
- Open an Excel spreadsheet or the program itself.
- Click “File” in the upper left part of the window.
- Select “New” from the green menu panel on the left side of the window.
- Click “Blank workbook” or whatever option is most appropriate for your needs, and a new Excel window will pop up.
To open more individual Excel spreadsheets, repeat the above steps for each new sheet you need. If your monitors are already configured to use Extended display mode, then you’ll just need to drag and drop the Excel windows to your preferred displays.
If you’re seeing the same display on all of your monitors, then Duplicate display mode is enabled and that will need to be changed to Extended mode in order to have different spreadsheets and windows on each monitor.
