I have two 3900 one at work and another at home. Both with dual monitors. The unit at work - work great. the unit at home - monitors don’t work.
Thanks for posting! Sorry to hear that your dock at home does not seem to be working and I will be happy to help! Just to clarify the behavior a little further, are you using the same laptop at home and at work and the behavior seems to be isolated to your dock at home? Also, had the dock at home previously worked with your laptop and they no longer work?
Assuming those details are correct, it sound like your home docking station could be faulty, and we will be happy to send you a replacement unit that has been pre-tested in our labs to ensure the hardware is working. But beforehand, we’ll want to examine some log files to see if they can tell us what is happening so the replacement does not behave in the same manner. To help us do so please download and run our diagnostic utility PlugDebug –> http://plugable.com/support/plugdebug while connected to your home docking station. When the utility completes it will notify you a file has been created and provide our direct email support address to send the file (firstname.lastname@example.org). Please send the file to that address with ‘Ticket 145356’ in the subject line so we can match everything up and we will go from there.
