Drivers are not listed in 'Network Adapters' section of Device Manager

I have a Gigabit USB 2.0 Ethernet Adapter. After I install the software, I’m not prompted to restart the computer. I manually restart it, but I don’t see the drivers in the ‘Network Adapters’ section of ‘Device Manager’. When I plug an Ethernet cable into it, it does not work. I tried it on a Dell Vostro 200 and Dell GX620 and they both are running Windows 7 Service Pack 1. Thanks for your help!

Hi Charles,

Thanks for contacting us, we’ll be happy to help. When you pluged the adapter in, did you get a pop up that said, Found New Hardware?

If you go to control panel and then programs and features do you see an entry for ASIX there? If so, what is the version?

Let me know these additional details and we’ll figure out our next steps.

Thanks,
Jerome.

I have the same problem on my Windows Vista system. Driver is not in the Device Manager under Network Adapters. However when I look in the Control Panel under Programs and Features I see its installed.

Shadeed,
