I have a brand new drive and three week old Mac Mini M1 running macOS 11.1. Whenever the screen turns off from inactivity, approximately after five minutes, the drive is “not ejected properly.” I am trying to use the Plugable drive with Time Machine but if it is ejected whenever the machine goes idle, that isn’t going to work.
