I received my unit last night. Plugable USB 3.0 SATA Hard Drive Docking Station I went to install it and I can’t get power to the unit. It appears to not be receiving power. I plugged it into 3 different outlets and the results were the same. Must be a defective unit. I so wanted it to work so I could restore data after a recent hard drive crash How would you like to handle this problem?

If the green power LED on the Plugable USB3-SATA-U3 does not light up when the unit is connected to an upstream computer system via USB, the power adapter is plugged into a live power outlet and the power switch is in ‘on’ poition, then it is an indication that either the power adapter or the unit has failed.
