HDMI to VGA adapter cable does not seem to be able to connect my PlayStation three or PlayStation four with a data projector.

I see you have already contacted us directly at support@plugable.com, but in case you haven’t received an email, our HDMI-VGA cable will not work when connecting from your Playstation 3 and Playstation 4 to projector. This is because the Playstation systems transmit HDCP protected content which a VGA signal does not support.

Our Amazon listing (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H…) mentions that the cable is “Not for use with Apple Mac systems, Blu-ray players, media players (Apple TV/Roku/FireTV/Chrome Cast, etc), Playstation 3/4.” We are always open to suggestions on how to communicate this technical information better. We’ll be happy to assist with a return for a refund if you’d like.
