Does the Plugable USB 3.0 to DisplayPort 4K UHD support dual monitors extension?

One monitor will be connected via a Display port while the second monitor will be connected via a USB port 3.0 (using the above subject part).

Hi Donal,

Thanks for posting, and I would happy to answer your question!

If I understand you correctly, yes. You can have one display connected to your system using a built-in DisplayPort output, and then add one of our UGA-4KDP adapters via a USB 3.0 port to add a second display with a DisplayPort input.

While connected, you will be able to extend your desktop from the first display to the second.

Let us know if you have any additional questions…

Thank you,

I did this and it doesn’t seem to be working. I am not sure what is happening, but the monitor is connected to the port by the adapter and I cannot extend my screen display. Can you help?

I figured it out - I had to screw everything in tight!
