Does the performance differ between the HDMI and DVI ports on the USB 3.0 station?

I notice lagging on the display port that is not present when I plug the same monitor directly into my mackbook pro using a USB-C to HDMI cable. The docking station HDMI port appears to perform well.

The performance between DVI and HDMI should be identical. This could be a limitation of the monitor, or it could be a cabling issue. Have you tried swapping out for a different HDMI cable? Also, what is the make and model if the display you’re using?
