DL-3500 Mouse lag

I’m using the DL-3500 for a 46" toshiba LED screen as a (4th) monitor on my computer, my mouse has a slight lag when I move around the screen.
Is there any updated driver that can fix this or some settings I can change?

Hi John,

Thanks for asking! A couple things you can check which can solve performance issues:

  1. If you’re on a USB 3.0 port, make sure you have the latest drivers for your USB 3.0 host controller (Intel, Renesas, VIA, Fresco, etc.). We’ve seen cases where updating to the latest drivers and firmware for the USB 3.0 host can make a big difference.

  2. Assuming you’re on Windows, run the Aero troubleshooter to find and fix any issues:

  3. Get on the latest DisplayLink drivers, available here:

There is a new 7.1 M1 version coming in a week or two that has some big steps forward (although nothing that particularly would affect what you’re seeing).
