Device Only flashes purple led regardless of whether a drive is plugged in or not, and is not detected in update utility.

The model number of the device is USB3-SATA-UASP1. As the title suggests, I plugged the device in and pressed the power button, and all that happens is a purple light flashes. I’ve tried multiple drives (none of them spin up), multiple outlets, and multiple USB ports - both 3.0 and 2.0. No matter what I do, all the device does is blink that purple light. Furthermore, when I downloaded the utility to check the firmware and see if that needed to be updated, the device is not detected at all.
