I am connecting a Dell XPS 13 to a Dell E Model E2318HR 23" LED monitor via a UD-3900 docking station. Everything is extremely slow and almost unresponsive.
For the benefit of anyone else following this forum thread, the customer also reached out to us directly via support@plugable.com for assistance.
The solution in this specific case was to perform a ‘clean’ installation of the required DisplayLink driver on the host system, similar to what we describe here → https://plugable.com/2019/05/22/windows-10-may-2019-update-with-plugable-usb-docking-stations-and-usb-video-adapters/
