Dell U3417W connected via HDMI 4K port Plugable USB-C Docking Station keeps on scanning for signal

I use a Dell U3417W monitor which I connect to a recent XPS13 via the HDMI 4K port of the Plugable USB-C Docking Station. The screen goes black frequently and comes back after few seconds. I have verified that plugable dock firmware, monitor firmware and pc video cards were properly updated and it keeps coming back.

Could you let me know how I could solce this?
