I would like to connect two external monitors to my (Dell Latitude E7440) laptop and have the ability to have different content showing on each of them, whilst having the laptop’s own screen blank. It’s for business use only - I don’t need to support games etc.
My laptop has the following:
Ports: 1 x HDMI, 1 x Mini Display Port , 1 x USB3, 1 x USB3 (w/power share)
Graphics: Integrated Intel HD 4400
My Monitors (yet to buy):
Manufactured by: Dell
Ports: “1 x DVI + 1 x VGA” / “2 x DVI” / “1 x HDMI + 1 x DVI”
Many thanks,
Greg

Plugable reply:
The bottom line: there are three options for you:
A. Using the direct video port, and add one USB graphics adapter for the second.
B. UD-3900 docking station (that has two video ports)
C. USB3-3900DHE graphics adapter (that has two video ports)
