Dell Inspiron 6400 Laptop (Approx age 2006)
Intel Centrino 2xCPU T5300 @ 1.73GHz
Samsung HM080HI ATA Hard Disk (80Gb)
1Gb RAM
Windows 7 32-bit SP1
Broadcom 440x 10/100 Integrated Controller Ethernet Adapter
Intel PRO/Wireless 3945ABG Network Adapter

Fibre Optic (FTTC) Broadband provided using UK BT Infinity 2
Router - Netgear N750 Gigabit Modem Router (DGND4000)
CAT6 cable from Gigabit Ethernet Port on Router

Please can you tell me whether either of your 2 products will work
effectively with the specifications I have listed above?

Plugable USB 2.0 to 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN Network Adapter
Plugable USB 3.0 to 10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet LAN Network Adapter

I would like to know whether they could exceed the current maximum of
100Mbps that I am limited too at the moment? I have read some reviews that
say 300-400 Mbit/s is possible but would prefer to hear directly from
yourselves after reading through my spec that I have listed. Thanks in advance.
