Hi, I just opened up my second Plugable USB 3.0 SATA Dock and (the first is fine) and the power supply appears to be broken out of the box. One of the AC prongs is not secure and is wiggly. This is a serious manufacturing problem that most likely requires supplier intervention. I’d like to request another adapter for my product but recommend you send instructions for me to send back this failed adapter for engineering team investigation. The adapter will still power up but clearly has the potential for failure or damage.
Hi Max - Thanks for letting us know! We definitely want to get that bad power adapter back for inspection (the power adapter and the main unit come from different factories). We’ll get you a prepaid return label, and and get you a replacement right away.
