Daisy chaining Dell monitors with TBT3-UDZ

My setup: Surface Book 3 i7 - Plugable TBT3-UDZ connected via USB-C
4 Dell P2719HC monitors (Displayport 1.2). I am expecting to be able to daisy chain the monitors by connecting to 1 (or both) displayport connections on my TBT3-UDZ, but not having luck. Can you advise?

Daisy-chaining is not supported. Only one monitor per DisplayPort output is supported. (For a maximum of 2x displays.)
