have old hp laptop without hdmi has usb2, and new lenove laptop with usb3. want to get the correct unit. at the plugable site i click on the american flag takes me to amazon and shows lot of devices but not the usb2-hdmi-165. which is correct unit and where to buy?

Thanks for posting your question here also! Plugable USB2-HDMI-165 reached end of life a couple of years back and we no longer manufacture it.
Our Plugable USB3-HDMI-DVI would serve the same purpose. Although it is a USB 3.0 device, as USB 3.0 is backward compatible with USB 2.0, it will work when connected to a USB 2.0 port with absolutely no issues.
