Controling 3 projectors with an m2 macboop pro

This is probably a silly question, and more mac OS related. I am using the UD 3988pdz and I have three projectors all getting proper hdmi signals. I just can’t figure out how to manage the multiple feeds. I would like to see all three feeds on my native macbook screen and control and monitor them from the laptop. Do I need additional software to make this happen?
thanks

Hi,

Thank you for contacting us, I am happy to help clarify how the UD-3900PDZ docking station and macOS handle external display connections!

Apple macOS can enable one of two display modes for external displays:

  1. Video mirroring to show your entire desktop on each display. This can be useful for presentations where your primary display is displayed on the projector or larger display for others to view.
  2. Extended desktop across two or more displays. This is most often used to provide additional screen space for open applications across multiple computer monitors for a single user at a desk or workspace. For example each monitor may have a different task open like a web browser, document editor, image editor, or video playing.

Apple macOS does not have built-in functionality for controlling out-of-view external displays in extended desktop mode, or in general for remotely controlling external displays for use in a video wall, or digital signage, these use cases normally require 3rd party software, or specifically designed hardware.

Please let me know if this helps or if you have any additional questions, and we can proceed from here.

I am starting to figure it out. I am using QLab and I think it can see all three projectors.

thanks for your help.
