My Laptop has wireless and Ethernet connections. how do I control it so that the Ethernet connection is used automatically when I am plugged into the UD 3000? It currently is using the wireless all the time.

Thanks for getting in contact with us. I’d be happy to answer your question regarding wired versus wireless network priority.
In general, Windows will opt to select the ‘best’ network by default based on some pre-defined metrics. However, you can opt to change this and set it to prioritize a wired connection. The following instructions are for Windows 7, however, they still apply to Windows 8.

Under the ‘Adapters and Bindings’ tab, simply have Windows prioritize the Ethernet connection.
