I have a new laptop running wndows10 and have a set of computer speakers and a small,sub that i want to connect to my new plugable usb3 3900 dock. Can this be done?

Thanks for posting! The audio output jack on the front of your UD-3900 dock supports two-channel stereo only. The two speaker channels (left and right) will work, but most likely the sub woofer will not (most speaker setups like you describe require 2.1 channel sound support).
