Docking station has 2 mDP ports, 4 USB 3.0 connections available. Samsung monitor has 1 - HDMI 3840x2160 @ 30 hz, 1 HDMI 3840x2160 @ 60 hz and I DisplayPort 3840x2160 @60 hz. What is my best approach.

As your monitor offers a DisplayPort input, the most straightforward method to connect everything would not require any of our products. While we can’t guarantee results or provide support for other manufacturers products, you could just use a standard mini-DisplayPort to full-size DisplayPort cable to connect from your Surface dock to your monitor, such as this one -> http://amazon.com/dp/B00C7RJQPY
