Brand new docking station doesn’t seem to power up. The shipping box was undamaged. I tried with both a Dell Latitude Windows XP machine and a MacBook Pro. I tried connecting it with each of the two included USB cables, and tried a third USB cable from a working BlackX Duet SATA docking station. With each cable, I attempted to connect a 500GB, 2 TB and 3 TB SATA drives. Light on front never illuminates and disk drives never spin up with power switch in either position. Tested wall adapter with volt meter and confirmed 12.1 volts DC output at end of cable. The device seems to be completely dead.
