Communicator U3 is not recognized by my laptop

Just opened my Communicator U3, plugged in the power (light comes on), attatched the USB 3.0 cable, and my laptop doesn’t recognize it. I tried the USB 2.0 cable and got the same result. All of my USB drivers are up to date. Any ideas?

Thanks for posting with your challenges- we’ll be happy to help. Sorry to hear your HD dock isn’t being detected.

If you’re seeing this behavior with a drive in the docking station, something isn’t right. Windows doesn’t see a “USB Mass Storage Device” until a disk is in the dock, so could you please send your Amazon order ID attention Jeff to support@plugable.com?
