cloned HDD into larger disk, but still showing the same "capacity"

I cloned a 256 GB on to a 1 TB. But the new disk shows the original disk capacity, 256GB

Thanks for contacting Plugable! Normally your operating system would allow you to expand the partition to utilize the remaining space, or your cloning software may support it.

If those options do not work for you, then we recommend backing up the 256GB of data, then starting fresh with a clean format of the 1TB disk before copying over again.
