Charging laptop with UD-5900

I have a new laptop which I believe I can charge from my UD-5900. (this is new territory for me). How do I (or how does it) know what voltage to use? How do I know that’s it’s charging at all? The laptop is a Dell 8K0PTV3.

Thank you for contacting Plugable support. I’d be happy to help you with your inquiry.

Unfortunately the UD-5900 does not have power delivery (PD) functionality. You’ll need to use the included AC adapter that came with your laptop.
