Can't transfer files

I have pluggable USB 3.0 Windows Transfer Cable and am trying to transfer files. The new computer, a Dell Inspiron, has two drives, C for programs and D for files. The transfer cable connection keeps telling me that I don’t have enough space to transfer my files. How do I get the cable to transfer to the D rather than C drive since I have almost a gig of storage available on that drive.

Hi Connie,

Thank you for contacting us about your transfer cable. What you need to do is to tell the computer the location where you want the files to go. This can be done by following the instructions in this blog post:

Please let me know if you have any questions or difficulties.
