I can’t safe-eject my USB 3.0 hard drive dock because my “Device is currently in use.” This happens all the time with this device, but I have not had this problem with other devices. Is there an easy way to fix this?
Just a few quick questions and we can see about taking care of this problem.
- Which model drive dock do you have?
- Are you on a Mac or a PC?
- Did this issue just recently start happening?
- Model: USB3-SATA-UASP1
- I’ve been using this device for about a week. It happened occasionally with similar devices I’ve used in the past, but with this one it seems to happen regularly.
Thanks for the information. It sounds like Windows is accessing a file(s) on the drive in the docking station causing the safe-eject to fail.
