Can't connect to Cisco console port using USB2-E100 adapter

I’m trying to use a Win10 laptop (64-bit) and Putty to connect to a Cisco router console port. When I try to open up COM ports 1-9, it just says it can’t open the connection. When I go into Device Manager, I don’t see a Ports section, but I do see a USB section. I just can’t determine what COM port to use in Putty. Any ideas? From what I’ve ready, no driver is required for WIn 10.

Thanks,

Andy
