I am an all new user and try to install the Displaylink driver software on Windows 8.1 Pro for my “Plugable USB 3.0”. The intstaller does not start, except for that a window quickly flashes that is too fast to read.
No drivers or software seem to be installed. I have tried to clean the pc from any potential drivers and re-install, but the problem prevails.
I also tried to install the software on my old Windows 7 machine, and then a traditional installer starts as expected… Does “Plugable USB 3.0” not support Windows 8.1 Pro?
