Cannot get digital microscope to work

I installed the software for the 250x, 2.0 digital microscope and it looks like it should be working but it does not matter what I put under the microscope, it’s just black.

Thanks for reaching out to us about this! I’m sorry for the trouble here, and I’d be glad to help you. Does the light appear/ increase and decrease when you try to adjust it? Here’s what I would suggest to try:

  1. Restart the computer
  2. Plug the microscope into a different USB port
  3. Open the Digital Viewer software only, and try to set the microscope as the default device
  4. If that doesn’t work, try clicking on any other device options in the menu to see if a different option pulls up the microscope image instead
