Cannot find Printer when plugged into Dock

Win 10 - HP laserjet 1200

When trying to install printer, if it is plugged into UD 3900, my laptop will not locate printer…

Thanks for reaching out to us, I am sorry this is not working as expected.

I recommend starting by re-installing the printer software, this should allow Windows to correctly assign a virtual printer port to the printer through the docking station.

Additionally, can the printer be installed when connected directly to the computer ( without the docking station )?
Do other USB devices work on the port the printer is connected to on the docking station?
