When i cannect a disk in the pluggable HDD dock (USB3-SATA-UASP1) and hook it up to my windows 10 machine, it shows the disk and the partitions in the disk. It allows be to browse the partitions and list the files.
But if i try to copy the files or open the file or do anything with the files i get the errror “File M:\abc.xls cannot be found”. This is for any file in any partition on the disk.
I have tried reading multiple disks and all have the same behaviour. The disk are fine and nothing is wrong with them.
Another thing i have noticed is that the disk is not visible in the Windows Disk Management Utility even though windows explorer shows the drive and partitions in them.
I have tried a different USB3.0 port, but still same issue.
Any idea what the issue is and how it can be resolved.
