When using the plugable sata hdd docking station, i plugged in a hdd and I cannot view user files as i dont have permission. please help this is urgent!

Thanks for reaching out. Sorry about the frustrations, but we’ll be glad to assist.
The behavior you’re describing is caused by Windows file/folder security permissions in place on the other drive. It isn’t specific to using the drive with our dock - it can happen any time a drive from one machine is used on another PC.
To access the data, you’ll need to change the permissions on the drive in question. It’s not a terribly intuitive process, but the following links cover the necessary steps:

Once you go through the process of changing ownwership and/or permissions, the data should then be accessible.
