I am looking for a way to share my wireless mouse and keyboard between two computers. I tried using a iogear usb switch and it was unsuccessful. Do I need to use a powered switch or powered hub to make this work?

Our switch http://plugable.com/products/usb2-swi… is different than some others - it is completely physical and passive. It doesn’t consume a significant amount of power on its own.
So the behavior you should see every time you press the button on our switch, would be identical to unplugging your wireless mouse receiver from one computer and plugging it into the other. If that works, the switch should also.
