Can I use the USB adapter to get audio from my tuner/receiver?

Can I use the “Plugable USB Audio Adapter with 3.5mm Speaker/Headphone and Microphone Jacks;(Black Aluminum; C-Media HS 100B Chip; Built-In Compatibility with Windows, Mac, and Linux)” with my tuner (so not connecting to a computer)?

Thank you for contacting us about your USB Audio adapter. I’m sorry to say that it will only work with a computer, and will not work with your tuner. Generally the USB port on tuners and receivers is only for reading flash drivers with music files on them.
