I have my UD-3900 docking station but forgot to bring the USB cable that is supplied with it. Can I use a regular USB cable or does it need to be 3.0? I am trying with a regular cable but it seems like the unit is not functioning properly.

The UD-3900 should function properly with a USB 2.0 cable, though of course this will cause it to run at USB 2.0 speeds so performance will be decreased.

Please send the .zip file it creates to support@plugable.com with “Ticket 84489” in the subject line, and we’ll have a look at the logs to see how things look. In the email, if you could also briefly describe what type of issues you’re experiencing, what’s not functioning properly, etc - that would be helpful as well.
