I purchase a Plugable USB-BT4LE USB Bluetooth 4.0 Low Energy Micro Adapter and I’m trying to install it on a machine running XP. I’ve gotten to the point where the computer recognizes my bluetooth device, but when I try to pair I get “BTWUIE xt has encountered a problem and needs to close.” I’ve spent several hours on this, disabling the Windows drivers and reconfiguring things, but nothing I’ve tried based on the advice I’ve received has worked. Is there a way around this error?
