Hi,
I just set up a Plugable UD-3900PDZ running on a Macbook Pro 13" M2 with Sonoma 14.5 with (2) Samsung U32R59x monitors. All resolutions are blurry compared to the Hyper Display unit I had before. Using DisplayLink Manager 1.10.2
Please let me know if you have ideas on how to sharpen the resolution. Thanks.
Thank you for contacting us both on our forum and via direct email. I have already replied to your direct email and recommend we proceed through the direct email, I will include some of the same details here in case you did not receive the direct email.
Thank you for contacting us, I am sorry this is not working as expected and I am happy to help!
The UD-3900PDZ Triple HDMI Display Docking station can support a single 4K 30Hz external display and two additional 1080P external displays.
I am sorry, this is a hardware level limitation of this docking station and I would instead recommend one of our USB Type-C Triple 4K Display Docking Stations, like our physically similar UD-6950PDZ ( https://plugable.com/products/ud-6950pdz ) which can support these displays at native resolution in macOS and will provide a better image quality with Apple’s display scaling “retina” technology.
Please let me know if you have any additional questions, or if you did not receive the direct email reply and we can proceed from here.
To close this support request, the docking station was purchased within the last thirty days and we have started the process to return the docking station for a full refund in favor of the UD-6950PDZ Triple 4K Display Docking station mentioned in my previous post.
